Norman Ornstein

Norman Ornstein is a resident scholar for the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a conservative public policy think tank based in Washington, D.C. He is a regular contributor to numerous magazines and newspapers, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. He also serves on the Board of Directors of PBS and the Campaign Legal Center, as well as on the Board of Trustees of the U.S. Capitol Historical Society.
Ornstein has co-authored a number of books, including: The Permanent Campaign and Its Future; Intensive Care: How Congress Shapes Health Policy; Debt and Taxes: How America Got Into Its Budget Mess and What to Do About It; andThe Broken Branch: How Congress Is Failing America and What Can Be Done About It.
